According to Greek mythologies, there was confusion between gods. According to some people’s thoughts, however, some incidents and confusions made the earth .earth and Uranus gave birth to giant titans who were considered as powerful by markings the beginning of these stories of gods. Uranus Imprisoned titans in a deep abyss on earth because of the suspiciousness and fear of one of the children will usurp the throne. But the Kronos who was a son of Uranus and powerful of the titans put the full stop to Uranus’s suspiciousness and defeated Uranus and became the king. After that Kronos married rhea and gave birth to Greek gods, Hades and Poseidon, and goddesses Hera, Hestia, and Demeter.

But the fear was in Kronos’s father started in Kronos’s mind too. That was his children would defeat him and steal the throne. Because of that first five children that rhea was born were swollen by Kronos without even thinking that is his children. Rhea was close to giving birth to her sixth baby and she secretly gave birth to their sixth child in a mountain and left him in a cradle because of the fear of losing that child too.

That was a boy and she named him “Zeus”. Nevertheless, Kronos waited to do that to the sixth baby, because of that she covered some rocks with a piece of cloth and gave it to Kronos as a newborn baby. He also swallowed it without even checking.

Angel call nymph (The forest goddesses) raised Zeus by giving goat’s milk. Grown young Zeus made Kronos drink a drink made by mustard and wine and vomit everything in his stomach. From that Zeus’s elder siblings came out from Kronos’s stomach alive as adults. After that, a war started between Greek gods and titans. Zeus leaded Greek gods for 10 years.

After 10 years titans were defeated and Greek gods imprisoned titans in Tartarus which was a dark and far place from the earth. According to history the distance to Tartarus from the underworld was similar to the distance between earth to sky. After that Greek gods fought with giants that lived on earth and that went to history as a war that lasted for a long time. Greek gods who won selected Olympus Mountain as their Permanent residence and Zeus was their leader.

Zeus is considered the god of sky and thunder and his siblings Poseidon was the god of the sea and Hades was the god of the underworld. Zeus married his sister Hera and she is considered the goddess of marriage.

Titan Oceanus

Titan Oceanus is the lord of Okeanos River which is surrounded by the earth, one from titan son of Gaia and Uranus. Greek Legends says he had a pair of ox horns and Fins instead of legs. Fish and serpent was his symbol. He is not like his brother, he did not contribute to destroying his father Uranus or the war of titans against Zeus. He had a lot of children after he married his sister Tethys.

Among the boys were Minor deities around the Potamoi River, their sisters were nymphs called Oceanids. There were three thousand nymphs and they were holding every Freshwater water source from Rain clouds to Groundwater springs.

According to ancient Greek descriptions, the earth was like flat sauce, it was cover by the river called Okeanos. This was considered as the water base which grew the other rivers and springs on the earth.

The three Sisters of Fate AKA ‘Moirai’

According to Greek mythology, there are three sisters who decide fate. They were named Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos. They decided fate not only of humans but also Greek gods. They were called sisters of fate aka ‘Moirai’. Neither humans nor gods were able to change or influence these three’s decisions.

Elder sister Clotho is the one who weaves the thread that holds life together. Human life holds on a thread that she weaves on her Weaving machine. The second sister Lachesis is the one who decides the thing that should be happened in each person. Her name came from the Greek word ‘λαγχάνω’ and the meaning of that is “to choose by a lot”. That is ‘ the fate of someone was chosen from an infinitive number of fates that can be happened’.

It says that Lachesis Measures the life thread from the rod that she has and from that the length of that and nature of that well be decided. The third sister aka the last sister is the one who cuts the thread of life and from that, the life and death of someone will be decided.
